Description:
The LBP25 ballistic panel is made of high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) without the addition of any ceramic or other armour layer. It is not a composite panel.
The SAPI shaped ballistic panel is designed for front and rear carry in all ballistic vests and plate carriers.
Construction: layered high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE)
Ballistic resistance class: III in accordance with the conditions of NIJ STD0101.04, STAND ALONE.
According to this standard, the panel is tested with 1 shot of the appropriate type of ammunition. The LBP25 STAND ALONE panel is also capable of stopping repeated hits.
