The ACH HIGH CUT II ballistic helmet was designed and developed for special forces personnel. The possibility of attaching nvg or headphones is a matter of course. The helmet does not restrict the wearer in performing combat tasks and provides perfect protection.
The basis of the ballistic helmet is a low-profile shell of the ACH shape with a high cut (HIGH CUT). The ACH shell replaced the previously used and long outdated PASGT type by lowering the overall shell, higher cut in the occipital part of the shell and on the side parts. This has resulted in a significant reduction in weight but at the same time increased compatibility with the integrated communications equipment.
The advantage of the fully equipped ACH HIGH CUT II ballistic helmet is the high ballistic resistance parameters combined with the achievement of perfect results and resistance in the field of absorption effects in terms of reducing the kinetic energy generated after mechanical impacts, drops and various types of combat activity, the kinetic energy generated after being hit by small arms projectiles, reflected projectiles and shrapnel. All this with the low weight of the complete, fully equipped ballistic helmet and the low thickness of the composite shell itself as well as the individual internal equipment elements (PADS pads).
The internal system of the PADS ALFA 01 pads used is the same as in the ACH MID CUT II and I helmets, providing the already mentioned protection and user comfort, thanks to their low thickness and elaborate four-point strap system - the helmet fits everyone nicely and the whole system also thinks about individual and solutions corresponding to the disposition of each warrior.
The large space around the ears thanks to the HIGH CUT allows the use of communication headsets with or without active listening. The reduced profile of the helmet especially in the ear area provides excellent compatibility with different types of communication devices.
The shape of the shell ensures a wide field of view and provides a versatile platform for mounting fixings for night vision devices, gas masks, flashlights, etc.
The edge of the shell is fitted with a rubber lip around the entire circumference.
Hot-moulded shell with high precision and optimally shaped for head protection.
Inner part of the shell coated with velcro discs - hook part in optimal assembly and positioning for attaching PADS ALFA 01 pads.
Four-point fastening system (code:NDS0104) with load and safety lock using ballistic screws (code:NDS0101)
Holes in the front of the shell for 3-point attachment of the NVG MOUNT ARGO mount
Shooting comfort and compatibility with headset under ballistic helmet
All materials used are health-safe, tested in accredited testing facilities in the Czech Republic
