ACH MID CUT II

The ACH MID CUT II ballistic helmet is introduced by the AÄR and Military Police under the designation Helmet 2017. It is available in the ACH MID CUT II version with upgraded internal equipment.

The helmet does not restrict the user from completing tactical and combat training. It is suitable for combat patrolling, parachute jumping, vehicle access, seeding and operating military equipment.

The advantages of the ACH MID CUT II helmet are the high ballistic resistance parameters combined with the achievement of perfect results and resistance in the field of absorption effects in the reduction of kinetic energy generated after mechanical impacts, jump and various other combat activities, kinetic energy generated after the impact of small arms fire, projectile deflections and projectile projectiles. This is possible with the low weight of the complete ballistic helmet and the low thickness of the shell itself and of the individual elements of the internal equipment (PADS shells). We are one of the few companies on the domestic market with valid accredited protocols for mechanical resistance testing according to the European standard EN 397 and the American standard HPW-TP-0401.01 B, deformation test.

The internal system of PADS ALFA 01 pads ensures the already mentioned protection and user comfort, thanks to their low thickness and the elaborate four-point strapping system, the helmet fits everyone nicely and the whole system also thinks about individuality and adjustment to suit the disposition of each warrior.

The basis of the ballistic helmet is the ACH shaped shell in the middle cut (MID CUT). The matte surface of the shell meets the requirements for IRR, AÄR camouflage patterns.

Large space around the ear allows the use of communication headphones with or without active listening. The reduced helmet profile especially in the ear area provides excellent compatibility with various types of communication devices.

The shape of the shell ensures a wide field of view and the 4 holes for mounting the four-point fastening system also provide the possibility of retrofitting the ballistic helmet with side rails (rails), for example for attaching and supplementing tactical equipment with a flashlight, gas mask, etc.

The edge of the shell is fitted with a rubber trim all around.

ACH MID CUT II - 3 holes for NVG MOUNT ARGO universal mounting in the front of the shell

ACH MID CUT I â smooth on the black side, supplied without mounting, holding NVG MOUNT ARGUN, without side rails â these can be fitted additionally to the helmet without drilling additional holes

Hot-moulded shell with high tightness and optimally shaped for head protection.

Inner shell lined with velcro discs - hook and loop fastener in optimal assembly and positioning for attaching PADS ALFA 01 shells.

Four-point fastening system (order:NDS0104) with quick release and ratchet with ballistic bolts (order:NDS0101).

Shooting comfort and compatibility with hearing aids under ballistic helmet.

All materials used are health-safe, tested in accredited testing facilities.

Mechanical resistance:

EN ISO 9185:2007 test using liquid steel with temperature 1598°C and weight 150 g ± 10 g

EN 397 A1 is around 4,2 kN at all parameters: -20°C; 50°C and 100% humidity. This test is used to test the force applied to the wearer's head during an impact of any kind. This force transfer shall not be greater than 5,0 kN.
